This role focuses on building a scalable, secure data architecture capable of handling large datasets, enabling real-time analytics, and integrating various systems. The Data Architect will be responsible for defining how data flows between D365 F&O, integrated systems, and the Azure data platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the blueprint for data storage, integration, and access across the organization, prioritizing scalability, security, and performance.
- Design systems that facilitate real-time data ingestion and processing, supporting live analytics.

- Build logical and physical data models that represent business processes and fulfill reporting and analytics requirements.
- Integrate data security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, financial regulations) into the architecture to ensure protection across all layers.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, and integration tools like Azure Data Factory.
- In-depth experience with D365 F&O data structures, entities, and integration to ensure smooth data flow from D365 F&O to the Azure data platform.
- Skilled in developing relational and dimensional data models, particularly in procurement and finance areas.
- Hands-on experience with lakehouse architectures that blend the scalability of data lakes and the performance of data warehouses, including familiarity with Delta Lake tables and Azure Synapse Analytics.
